fügt sich perfekt in die Öffnung des Blendrahmens ein und sorgt damit für einen festen und dichten Verschluss des Fensters.
Bei den Fensterrahmen ist zu beobachte, dass die modernen Elemente heute etwas dicker sind als noch vor einigen Jahrzehnten. Der Ursache dafür ist einfach: Bestanden die
Fenster in früheren Zeiten aus einer einzelnen Glasscheibe, kombinieren sie
heute mehrere Scheiben zu Verbundmaterialien. Sie
müssen flexibel auskommen mit, um sich gut zu Fenstern in verschiedenen Formen verarbeiten zu lassen. Die Zwischenräume sind mit isolierenden Gasen gefüllt,
um eine möglichst gute Dämmwirkung zu erzielen. All das braucht seinen Platz.
Da die Fensterelemente allerdings auf alle fälle schlanker als das Mauerwerk bleiben, ins sie Verwendung finden, ist
diese größere Stärke kein Hindernis.
