Gießen Sie dann, entsprechend Wasserbedarf, mindestens
jeden zweiten Tag und achten Sie dabei darauf, dass
keine Flüssigkeit im Untersetzer stehen bleibt. Sorgen Sie durch tägliches Besprühen der Nadeln für ausreichende Luftfeuchtigkeit.
Gewöhnen Sie den Baum nach den Festtagen wieder behutsam knapp kalten Temperaturen im Freiland.
Auspflanzen dürfen Sie ihn, sobald kein Nachtfrost mehr droht.

drei Tage Wasser bekommen – am besten von unten über eine
untergestellte Schale. Der Container sollte daher
Löcher im Boden haben. Gegensätzlich der geschnittene
Baum sollte das Weihnachtssymbol im Topf nur wenige Tage im Zimmer stehen.
Und das am besten möglichst kühl, damit er nicht antreibt und weiterwächst.
Schließlich muss sie nach dem Weihnachtsfest wieder nach draußen umziehen. „Je
wärmer die Pflanze steht, vor allem Stress bedeutet das für sie», erklärt Sämann. Auch Bühne frei für es ratsam, den Baum wieder ein bis zwei Tage lang zu akklimatisieren und den Wurzelballen anschließend gegen Frost zu schützen, damit er nicht durchfriert. Trotzdem: Gartenexperten sind eher skeptisch, dass der Nadelbaum im Topf ein weiteres Weihnachtsfest erlebt. „Wenn der Topf groß genug, das Substrat qualitativ gut ist und der Baum regelmäßig gewässert und gedüngt wird, ist es einen Versuch wert», sagt Sämann.
„Erfahrungsgemäß geht das aber rückwärts los.» Daher wird der Baum am besten in den Boden gegeben, sobald dieser frostfrei ist.
